Welcome to Meisterbeatz' musical universe and his latest landmark, the single of his upcoming "Beatronaut" EP.

Meisterbeatz combines two power women Jean Grae and Burni Aman on "Masters of the Humanverse". The song (an allusion to the action-figure series "Masters of the Universe") can be understood as an intellectual battle track on which the protagonists skillfully demonstrate their spiritual superpowers and the challenges and struggles that accompany them. The music: direct, simple and fresh, with a touch of a pounding Detroit / J Dilla character and a soundscape inspired by sci-fi movies. A definite head nodding guarantee based on the classic 90ies flavor flying towards the future with a relaxed funky warp speed.

Jean Grae lives in Brooklyn, NYC and collaborated with such greats as Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, Busta Rhymes or producer 9th Wonder (Little Brother, Jay-Z). After Lauryn Hill's "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" album, Grae's first solo album "Attack of the Attacking Things" was considered the next milestone in female rap. Burni Aman (Cape Town / Berne) was once a member of the all female hip-hop trio "Godessa" (Cape Town), which caused a sensation with their socially critical lyrics and were eventually awarded a lifetime achievement award.

Meisterbeatz loves cultural exchange and promotes it with his passion for beats and raps, which has been going on since the early nineties. His résumé includes projects with international artists such as Freestyle (ex-Arsonists, NYC), Vindahl feat. Coco (Denmark), Godessa and Crosby aka Digi Analog (Cape Town) or Swiss rap and soul greats such as Seven, Baze, Black Tiger and Wurzel 5. With his solo project "Beatronaut" (December 6th, 2019) Meisterbeatz presents the next stage of his creative development. Renowned artists from three continents are represented on the EP, half of them women.
